View their slideshow on the main site, and don't forget to turn up the headphones! The music experience is slowly but surely getting there thanks to my lovely husband....enjoy!

It's been a beautiful long weekend so far, one of the highlights being Jacky and Em's wedding which Joel and I attended in the Chinese Garden of Friendship yesterday, and kept the celebrations running at the Fisherman's Wharf Restaurant later. Everything was truly lovely and you wouldn't have realised that lots of the organisation was pretty much done in the month leading up to the wedding....you guys are very talented, and very, very good lookin'!!

My one regret was the fact that we were running late...and being in heels and a little dress, I didn't think I could run up a flight of stairs and get to the place on time with 10kg of camera equipment on my back. Actually I'm not sure how heavy it is, but I missed it as soon as we got there all flustered and realised we had heaps of time to spare. It ended up being heaps closer than anticipated but oh well!

So here are some pics from the reception instead. The smiles pictured on the cake below were an understatement of reality. Em and Jacky have been together something like 10 years....so you can imagine how elated they were to finally tie the knot!

Love their bombonierres, these little sweeties looked so peacefully content.

Though I've been to many chinese weddings, this was seriously the first time I've ever seen lion dancing to usher in the bride and groom. Much love, prosperity and good fortune to you both!!

For those of us who knew Em more than we knew Jacky, there was a side to him that we hadn't seen (or heard) before. The sweetest rendition of umm...some Lee Hom guy's song that Em loves.

And here's Em clapping along as she enjoys her serenade. (Love.That.Dress!!)

The immensely happy couple, enjoying some quality time on the dancefloor.

And no, they didn't stop smiling for a minute!

Em's parents getting their groove on the dancefloor (the second pic is my fave!)

Special mention to Muzza the birthday boy driver....just getting into theme as 'Men In Black' plays in the background. Hope you thanked the bride and groom for your Party Table #6 haha! Happy 26th!

Us and the beautiful newlyweds in their final costume change into traditional gear. Congratulations guys, it's been a long time coming! Your wedding was beautiful and fabulous and so much fun all at once, thanks for having us there to share it with you. Take care on your honeymoon, we know you'll have a great time.

And one last one for the road just because these costumes are cool...

Congratulations!!! xoxo

Lots of anticipation as I made my way to the hotel room Candy was getting ready in with both the lady at reception and another service member in the lift asking if I was heading to The Wedding....and that it looked like it was going to be beautiful. Indeed it was!!

I loved Candy's dress pick, a beautiful Demetrios number from Bride's of Beecroft (I always crane my neck whilst driving through Beecroft to see their latest wedding gown displays!)

Absolutely love this shot of Candy's sister getting her makeup done, the black mascara and blurred black polka dot background of her dress just makes it I think.

These girls were great fun to hang around, all very helpful and all flown in all the way from Hong Kong. And such a small world too....apparantly one of the bridesmaid's little sister remembers me from being in my peer support group when she was in year 7!

Yay! One of the funkiest guestbooks I've seen to date....each page had something interesting on it, a symbolic word, verse, or meaning surrounded by the joyful scrawl of friends and family.

And here's James, the groom. And no, he's not really a dwarf, he was just standing on a step below the minister hehe.

The beautiful bride and her father walking down the aisle...and the ceremony gets underway.

Spotted this artwork on the wall while the guests were mingling and enjoying refreshments and thought it might be a good background for a photo, and also fitting given the work within youth ministry that these guys are involved in - 1 Timothy 4:12.

And I loved her long bouquet of my favourites: orchids, lillies, and a gorgeous touch with the draped pearls.

Check out this cake!!! So I mucked around with the colours a bit (I'll post the original within the slideshow a little later on) but I was staring at it for a while and was scared one was going to topple over and smoosh....and then realised they were very cleverly designed cupcakes! Perfect for a groom who's apparantly rather infatuated with ice-cream himself!

Thanks for a wonderful day guys, and for letting us capture these moments and share them with you. We had our fair share of laughs, riding in the limo was a lovely surprise (thank you bridal party!), and you all obviously were having a great time enjoying the day which made our job super easy! Look forward to hearing from you after the honeymoon...happy globetrotting!

Brand spankin' new slideshow uploaded in the LOVE section of my main site.

Music to come soon (hopefully), hope you enjoy the ride!!
