The day couldn't have been sweeter, the weather any better, or the day more enjoyable! After quite a dramatic lead up to the wedding (the bride-to-be having fractured a knee and an elbow within a month of the wedding), everyone was hoping everything else would go incredibly smoothly...and it sure did! The months of planning definitely paid off, and I'm sure these newlyweds are still enjoying the fruits of their hard work while they honeymoon in the Carribean!

All the anticipation was a little overwhelming in the morning....when you put on your dress, and everyone's ready to go, it suddenly all feels so....real! She did a very good job of keeping her make-up intact, technique as pictured:

These quasi-gloves were a great invention - classy meets practical!

Choice of flowers were just right to complement the outfits, white lisianthus bouquets (pictured here) and those beautiful David Austin roses.

Some quick family pics before the day starts rolling away...

....in a Rolls!

Meanwhile, the groom and his men wait patiently at the church...

The ceremony was short, sweet and set in the beautiful interiors of St Patrick's Catholic Church in the Rocks.

And you could literally see and feel their relief once all the formalities were over!

I love the casual photojournalistic feel of this next set captured as the mingling and congratulations began....and yes, I definitely have a soft spot for little ones!

And off we head for some one on one time with the bridal party...

I like the feel of this portrait, somewhat formal, yet still nice and relaxed...

This was a shot the girls asked for, having been lucky enough to find these shoes which matched their dresses perfectly.

Thumbs up for the new husband and wife!

A bit of bubbly, and then a trip to the Australian Hotel, one of Amanda and Paul's favourite haunts. Oh, and they do a mighty fine pizza I must say!

These next two are a couple of my faves...

And these colourful terraces were fun to play with too...

Then daylight slipped away and we made our way to the reception at Doltone House @ Pyrmont Point where everyone was very well taken care of.

Welcoming the beaming new couple who surprised us all with a passionate kiss upon entry!

Followed by speeches that made each one of them cringe in turn, and then in unison, like so....

Love this shot of the bride's father and grandmother having a dance...

and of course the couple enjoying their first dance.

Amanda and Paul, I'm going to sms you now as promised and hope you get the message if the Carribean allows! Thank you so much for letting me photograph your day and capture these beautiful moments as they unfolded. We had an awesome time having fun with you and your guests and we hope you love these images as much as we do.
TAKE CARE and come back safe, refreshed, and even more in love!
