It was one of Sydney's crisp winter afternoons, sunkissed after a week of gloomy skies. I arrived at Rae's apartment to be met with the most relaxed bride I've ever seen - partly due to the fact she was doing an awesome job her own make-up in the peace and quiet of her room...
Hugo Boss gifts - XX for the girls, XY for the boys. And her gorgeous engagement ring pictured here.

Love the rust-red and cream combo of the bridesmaid's bouquets..

Oh and ladies, it might be old news to the rest of you, but did you know Satch sells shoes? These were hard to describe, but they definitely were something different, very versatile, and lined in very comfy looking soft leather.

Getting ready.....love these netted veils they always look so royal. Does anyone else think Rae channels Denmark's gorgeous Princess Mary?

Grand-Aunt getting ready with a little help form Lyndall. It was very special to have her make it as she made the effort from hospital that morning and you woudn't have been able to tell by the way she glowed! She was also the bearer of a baby-blue lace garter which she herself wore, and was passing on to Rae for the occasion.

The stunning bride...

Meanwhile, the boys were promptly dressed....

and off to relax at a bar!

Father & Son

A kiss for his little girl...

What stood out to me during the ceremony was their unique and sincere vows. Anyone who sneaks the words 'inca princess' into their lifelong promises has my respect!

And then a few quick snaps in the beautiful surrounds of the Chinese Friendship Gardens...

The light was beautiful this time of day, this time of year.

And off for another quick sip of champagne before the reception begins....

Loved the edgy warmth of the Argyle Cellars all cozy from the glow of candlelight...

The speeches were definitely one of a kind, those footy tips were very well presented boys!

And the band was definitely hot tamale!! Joel had been looking forward to a 'jazz band' that was to play, but this was even better! A spanish latino jazz band with awesome talent...definitely had that dance floor cranking!

And to end, one of the best bride and groom dances I've seen yet!

Congratulations Rae & Nick, we had such a fantastic time capturing these moments of your wedding day, thank you for trusting us to do this. I loved all the little things you did so different to the norm, everything was just spectacular! Hope you enjoy these, looking forward to meeting up to show you the rest!
