The bus stop. That's where it all began.
For Reiner & David's engagement shoot, we took a trip down memory lane and revisited this good old spot, complete with the beloved umbrella that David offered to shelter this lovely lady from on a cold and rainy day...

We then took a drive to Milsons Pt and strolled around the area, with the aim of grabbing a few shots at Ripples where David proposed. I like the different angle of the bridge in these shots...

These guys are adorable :)

Love the glow of the sun behind this stained glass, and the impromptu pose!

A beautifully framed shot captured by Joel...

I watched David do this a total of three times during the day...I don't think he knew I got this one on camera haha!

At Ripples! I asked them to sit where I thought the light was best to literally grab some images within a minute or so in the hope not to disrupt the customers. Turns out I had unknowingly positioned them in the exact spot where he proposed....that was kinda cool.

Another cool angle, taken by Joel. I'm sure a lot of this happened on the night of the proposal too :)

And finally, a cool little area we saw, I had fun on the edits with this one.

Reiner & David, I am so looking forward to your wedding next year, I hope this little prelude of what's to come gets you excited during the lead up and prep for the big day! You guys are a joy to work with and I can't wait to see your vision unfold for the wedding!
I was honoured to photograph the beautifully elegant wedding of Melissa and George a couple of weeks ago in the Shire where the sun never fails to shine! It was truly a gorgeous day, and I adored the soft green palette that Melissa chose as part of her colour theme.
In fact, this green just happens to be Melissa's favourite colour and it was only appropriate for her kitchen tiles to reflect this. This was the first shot of the day and little did I know just how important this shoe shot was to all her friends who continued to randomly ask me if I'd taken photos of her shoes. I'm not entirely sure of the depth of the story behind it, but boy were they amazing handmade leather heels in a stylish ivory trimmed with pale gold.

This little chalkboard caught my eye with a perfect message inscribed for the day...

My first ever bride to walk to church!

And how pretty is this church!

Absolutely adore these shots Joel captured, they look so paparazzi coz you can spot my lens up front!

And then some sweet location shots by the beach. I love this first one of them on this bench, and all the more so because it has significance to them too...

And then we head to The Nun's Pool for a chic and casual affair. If you ever head this way, make sure you order one of their large coffees, their coffee art is remarkably consistent and impeccable (and yes, I get to say this coz I was a barista in my uni days!)

Guess who received an extra special surprise piece of bling on her wedding day!

Melissa, thanks for being so organised and relaxed leading up to your wedding day, you were truly a joy to work with! George, don't ever stop making her laugh, you are a gem! To the both of you, we hope you enjoy these memories of your wedding day, we had a blast capturing these moments for you and Joel wants to add a particular thank you for his 'jaegerbombonierre'! Congratulations!!
Sing Yee contacted me a while back asking if I could do an engagement shoot for her and Magnus as they lived in Sydney but were getting married in Penang early next year. They were such a lovely couple and I was wondering how it was all going to turn out, as I knew she wanted to hire a dress for the occasion but I didn't know if Aussie stores offered that kind of service (tip from Sing Yee: go to Honeymoon Bridal in Parramatta if you're interested!).
Everything turned out just right for our shoot, the light and weather were lovely to work with, and this couple were so easy to work with and I think we had an equally great time iin front of and behind the lens!! Here are some of my faves....

Hot!!

Love her look here...

This one makes me smile too. Sing Yee and Magnus, can't wait to see you guys next week and show you the rest! I had such a hard time trying to pick what goes on this post so I'm wishing you luck in advance :) Seriously though, thanks for being so wonderful to work with, we wish you all the very best for the upcoming wedding and for the blessings of married life!

As I wandered through Robyne's mum's home I noticed two framed photos of both her sisters on their wedding day on the wall, and a nice space right in the middle for the photo that was to come. I tried to take the pic in a similar style to the two already there so I hope it finds a special place on that wall!

Robyne and Robert came all the way from London to have their wedding by an Aussie beach, and I believe another is to follow sometime down the track in Nigeria as well, which I imagine will have amazing colours everywhere!

I love this peaceful image as they held hands in prayer...

Sharing a laugh with the sisters...

Props again to Zab for this shot, this little one ain't missing out on the action!

Love these two...

Robyne & Robert, hope you had a great time with your loved ones at your newly coined 'family-moon'! Wishing you a safe trip back to London (and more celebrating there!) and also an incredible journey as you welcome the birth of your little one in the coming months...

God Bless!
