I was honoured to photograph the beautifully elegant wedding of Melissa and George a couple of weeks ago in the Shire where the sun never fails to shine! It was truly a gorgeous day, and I adored the soft green palette that Melissa chose as part of her colour theme.
In fact, this green just happens to be Melissa's favourite colour and it was only appropriate for her kitchen tiles to reflect this. This was the first shot of the day and little did I know just how important this shoe shot was to all her friends who continued to randomly ask me if I'd taken photos of her shoes. I'm not entirely sure of the depth of the story behind it, but boy were they amazing handmade leather heels in a stylish ivory trimmed with pale gold.

This little chalkboard caught my eye with a perfect message inscribed for the day...

My first ever bride to walk to church!

And how pretty is this church!

Absolutely adore these shots Joel captured, they look so paparazzi coz you can spot my lens up front!

And then some sweet location shots by the beach. I love this first one of them on this bench, and all the more so because it has significance to them too...

And then we head to The Nun's Pool for a chic and casual affair. If you ever head this way, make sure you order one of their large coffees, their coffee art is remarkably consistent and impeccable (and yes, I get to say this coz I was a barista in my uni days!)

Guess who received an extra special surprise piece of bling on her wedding day!

Melissa, thanks for being so organised and relaxed leading up to your wedding day, you were truly a joy to work with! George, don't ever stop making her laugh, you are a gem! To the both of you, we hope you enjoy these memories of your wedding day, we had a blast capturing these moments for you and Joel wants to add a particular thank you for his 'jaegerbombonierre'! Congratulations!!
YAY! :D Is this the one you told me I'll like, cause I do!
