Yes that’s right. Me, hater of all things chain-mailed and first to press delete has decided to share with you twenty random points about yours truly, simply because I’ve enjoyed peeking at everyone elses…I originally wanted to post each point with an accompanying image, and then realised I’d probably well and truly miss this chain-list bandwagon if I took the time to do it properly. Oh well, you’ll just have to do with my plain jane words….
1. When I’m relaxed, I’ll start belting out tunes at the top of my lungs. Dixie Chicks and The Little Mermaid feature quite regularly during these sessions, as do multiple key changes that I never noticed till Joel looked at me strangely one day.
2. I own the entire collection of Anne of Green Gables (thanks to an adorable old bookstore we stumbled across in New Zealand) and wish I was born in that era. Give me open fields of peaceful beauty, horses, milkable cows and eggable chickens any day!
3. My mum comes from a family of twelve, and my dad from a family of ten. I am an only child.
4. I want to build my future kids a tree house from scratch complete with a tyre swing.
5. Then again, Joel says maybe we shouldn’t have kids, coz two’s already enough.
6. I want to be more real with people, and people more real with me. Let’s talk about the things that matter.
7. I am afraid of indifference.
8. I lived in Singapore for a colourful three years of my life and wonder from time to time how my peoples are doing. Slurpees, jelly belly’s, and many a graffiti’d ruler – those were the days.
9. I think I am an introvert who tries to hide it by pretending to be extroverted. This requires a lot of energy and as a side-effect I talk a mile a minute.
10. I happen to love my husband more and more each day. Happy ten today!
11. I would like to invest in a pair of Nudies but they don’t fit me right. Maybe this is my way of telling you that I’m not very good at being healthy or exercising which kinda sucks since metabolism only goes downhill from here.
12. I have an unhealthy attraction to to-do lists. I saw a house in a magazine where one wall was a blackboard/chalkboard so its occupants could list till their heart’s content..maybe I will build one of those too.
13. I miss dancing. It kind of amuses me how many routines I choreographed in my mum’s kitchen, making good use of a door that turned into a full length mirror when the sun goes down.
14. I used to get up at 4am every Saturday to figure skate. I was only ever good at it in my head…I don’t think I was fearless enough to ever succeed at it, but I loved it anyway.
15. I miss those days where a 5c coin could buy you five fruit balls at the school canteen. Inflation is stupid.
16. I worry about those around me leaving this earth and not knowing where they are going.
17. I wish I was not so selfish with my time. I am working on it.
18. Is my favourite number.
19. I am scared of losing my memory for real when I’m older coz I’m already….
20. I am God’s.

LOL @ Parents coming from massive family, and you being the only child! How ironic!
Yes, I agree with the silly inflation! Back in primary school days, kids gave me money (I was that much of a bully) and I felt like a millionaire… When I only got like $2.35. Sigh.
… YAY! I’m God’s too! Wooo!! Yay for Jesus! ^_^
I love you, Trish.
hehe…well i’ve only met you once and #9 got me laughing…you really don’t seem like an introvert though…have you ever done those myers briggs test at work? =)
“eggable chickens”? *raise eyebrows*
You’re hilarious trish :) haha! congrats on 10!!
PS: heard you’re doing ben/jane’s wedding!
lol, the more I know about you Trish, the more I find amusing how similar we are!! I think I am the same on way more than half of all your points! None more than #9. I am exactly exactly exactly the same. No kidding. Perhaps instead of our usual chitter chatter banter when we’re doing stuff together, we should dare each other to be silent. No wait, that would kill us! Cos I bet you hate silence as much as me! lol :)
ooh no 12! a friends kitchen put a sheet of plastic against the wall of their kitchen and would write on it with whiteboard markers
