Following from the sheltered haven of part one of our creative shoot, Jen and I had planned a bit of a crazy day where we were to drive at noon to the Hunter Valley against a totally different setting for part two of the shoot with these amazing gowns. Celeste from Pretty in White had graciously let these numbers be packed in boxes and flown from Malaysia and my were they a sight to behold! I had so much trouble trying to pick which gowns we should photograph from the options available and ended up opting for these ones - seemingly simple and elegant from the front with wow factor as soon as you see the back!
As much as we were hoping for sunkissed vineyards for this shoot, the rain pelted down halfway through the trip and didn't really let up until 20 mins after we arrived, and even then it was just to tease us and the rain started bucketing again. Nonetheless, the Nicola and Kayla were absolute troopers and we were still in the mood to be creative and shoot where shelter would allow around the pretty grounds of Cedar Creek Cottages!

A massive thank you to Nicola for doing some amazing work with the bridal hair and makeup in the blink of an eye, and for being awesome chatty company on the drive to the Hunter and back! To all you brides out there, I highly recommend this talent!

Big thank you also to Yeng who made these delicious floral creations for us to accessorise the shoot. Yeng was actually my florist for my own wedding a couple of years ago and an ex-investment banker who is also quite a contented lady away from the crazy corporate life (although no doubt she is just as busy!). She actually now lives in the Hunter Valley however continues to service both the Hunter and Sydney regions with her beautiful creations.

Absolutely amazing detail in the trains!

Much love, xx!
