Tasmania (on film)
Hello again my sweet visitors so sorry for disappearing off the face of the internet a bit. I actually didn’t mind it, my hands were literally tied given most of my to do list was locked up in my inbox which also disappeared into a virtual abyss for a while so I headed out to the beach on Saturday and enjoyed the down time instead! My poor hubby was a little stressed though but everything is back in working order, I don’t think I lost too many emails and as promised, there will be some pretty new changes around here hopefully in time for the new year, if not before!
I promised my mum a trip to Tassie this year as it was a bit of a special birthday so mum and dad, Joel and I welcomed summer by tripping out into the colder climate and enjoyed every bit of it. I only brought my little film camera and also a holga for this trip (those photos to follow soon), and here are some of my faves! Happy birthday mum :D!
A couple of images from Port Arthur, it wasn’t on my planned itinerary but mum wanted to check it out and I must say it was really interesting!

Couple of random shots in Hobart itself…

Pretty little cottages where we stayed in Swansea!

I found my mum exploring the garden of the bed and breakfast early the next morning and told her to pose for me. I quite like this portrait!

Oh look at my adventurer of a husband, on a rock to look out upon Wineglass Bay in Freycinet National Park.

Spent a night in the treetops bed & breakfast in Binalong Bay and it had some absolutely gorgeous decor I just had to have a bit of fun setting up a shot and letting my tea get cold!

Awesome.

Who thought Tassie would have beaches this white….

Oh hello dad!

The Bay of Fires

Favourite shot, isn’t my mum such a poser!

Cradle mountain greeted us crispy cold, wet, and rather dreary but we wanted to explore since we were there and didn’t have time to postpone our adventures. We ended up taking this short little circuit walk around the area called the Enchanted Walk or something to that effect. I was totally blown away by how enchanted the forests were, you could almost see the little elves!

Dove Lake got prettier and prettier as the day went on…

Joel thinks my parents look like hobbits here…heheh

That is all, hope you like the little peek into Tassie. It’s so quiet there but God’s creation and the natural beauty can be taken in with every breath and I loved it. Holga photos to follow!!
