There's always a curiosity when the bride and groom book you from overseas. I'm always flattered that the trust is extended even though only built via email lines, but I'm always a little scared I won't live up to their expectations when we finally meet. Lucky for me, this gorgeous bride Joanna and I seemed to click just fine and I couldn't wait to kick off my 2010 year with her wedding. Beautiful, sophisticated and lots of fun...I'll let their photos do the talking!!

Joanna asked for her own personal elements to be added to her dress, like these black buttons and sash. I thought the scallop countours in her shoes were great and the hotel room had some great colours for backgrounds!

This brooch was given to her when she was five by her nan who has since passed....it was just perfect for the dress.

Dad calming nerves by handing around the lyrics to 'I say a little prayer for you' and it was acapella karaoke all round. Awesome.

The weather was absolutely insane that day, I think we got four seasons in the day but during the ceremony, it was summer. Very summer!

After summer came winter, and it came fast too!!

Joanna had all of her bridesmaids design their own dresses and then had it made to fit in the same material. Such a wonderful idea and definitely something the girls can pull out time and time again!!

Smokin'!!

I think this might be my favourite little set, I love my brides who are not afraid of the rain!

The colours at the reception were cool and the band was absolutely amazing. For anyone who is looking for a band, try the Usual Suspects (and Joanna tells me they were booked through Funikified Entertainment).

Joanna's right hand lady!

The star of the night!!

Joanna and Matt, I hope this post was a nice surprise as you head back to Dubai but you still might be in the air as I type! Thank you so much for being such an awesome couple, so easygoing and not letting Sydney's four seasons in a day get you down but just working together with me as the day unfolded. We hope you enjoy these photos and hope we can keep in touch!! Congratulations!!! xx
