As a photographer who works predominantly with natural light, I do my best to give my clients advice on light and what time of day is the prettiest and most flattering. Christina and Brent were absolute gems with this and timed their day perfectly with the light in the later part of the day. It was also pretty fortunate because Sydney has been having some absolutely shocking weather of late and the drive up to the Hunter was pretty grey and threatening but it gracefully lifted towards the afternoon, and then bucketed down as soon as we reached the shelter of the reception. That kinda timing always makes me smile! I was also excited to be working with Daniele del Castillo as my second shooter for this wedding. He is definitely an excellent photographer in his own right, but had contacted me a few weeks ago asking whether he could assist as he had fallen in love with an Aussie beauty while she was in Italy and had come to check out our side of the world and see what the future might hold. Daniele, it was definitely my privilege to have you along for the day, and your photojournalistic style and friendly banter with the clients fit in perfectly, thank you so much for your time and your beautiful work!
