Marissa & Adrian: Married!

weddings | February 14, 2010

I had been looking forward to Marissa and Adrian’s wedding for a long while, after having such a ball with them at their engagement shoot. They were really comfortable to be around, and I hope I made them feel that way too!! Arriving to Marissa’s home and seeing her casually cross-legged on the ground and doing her sister’s makeup I knew it was going to be a lovely day. There’s something about close families which make you love being around them even more, and they were definitely a sweet bunch!

Marissa’s gown suited her perfectly, a gorgeous number from Johanna Johnson

Love this shot as Marissa headed back to her room for a touchup…

Adrian and the boys looking spunky! Apparently Joel had the help of some homemade italian limoncello to start his day and I think maybe we should make it a bit more regular :P

Fortunately this was one of Syndey’s kinder days, blue skies on their favourite beach, we couldn’t really ask for more!

Love….

and a favourite taken by my hubby!

We were waking back to the cars and I spotted this guy just minding his own business trying to read a book on the beach but next to him was this amazing bike! I almost tripped poor Adrian over running to him to ask if I could borrow it for a shot to which he kindly obliged. Joel chatted to him for a bit while I snapped, and found out that he had made it himself. I so should have taken down his number!!

And a few more vintage ones just for you Marissa!

Love love loved the details at the MCA, full of fresh light and a romantic colour palette.

I know I usually can’t find the space to post many guest photos but this one caught my eye, I was just walking by and everyone seemed perfectly positioned….thanks boys!!

Another one caught by Joel’s wandering eye, it tells a story in itself!

The moon made many appearances that night, Sydney can be so beautiful when she wants to be!

Memories and blessings, beautiful speeches….

And a sweet close to the night…

Also, check out this amazing video footage from No Limit Pictures they did such a fantastic job!

Marissa & Adrian, I hope you are having a fantabulous time wherever you are in Europe right now! Many many thanks for having us be the ones to capture your day, we enjoyed every minute of it and hope this came through into the images for you too. Congratulations on becoming husband and wife, we think it only gets better from here!!! xx

i really like joel’s capture – very descriptive – and the first set of them in the trees, esp the one on the left where the tree trunks make a picture frame.
and last comment.. in the set 3rd up from the bottom, top left hand photo, the groom looks like he’s checking his iphone. haha!
