Silver Party 2010

Last night I had the pleasure of volunteering to help photograph the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation Silver Party 2010. It was a splendid affair, hosted at Otto in Woolloomoolloo and packed out to the max. Since 2006, this event has supported the hospital’s Emergency Department, raising funds to employ an additional specialist doctor, and also to continue to raise the quality of healthcare through training and education throughout Sydney and rural NSW. Thought I’d share a few of my fave snaps from the evening….

I was very much looking forward to the amazing food that was in abundance all night, courtesy of the minds and talent behind Guillame at Bennelong, Astral, Pier, Hugos, Quay, Summit, Aria, Rockpool, Pilu at Freshwater, and Otto. This jamon was delicioso!

All in all a great summer night and I hope heaps of money was raised to continue the work being done at the hospital. Thanks for the invite Claire (and for the recommendation Ally) and I hope you can make good use of the coverage!! Happy Friday everybody xx
