Berowra Waters Inn
So here we have it, my very first foodie post! Don’t get too used to it though, my lucky stars aligned and we had beautiful food, beautiful light, and beautiful memories celebrating with Jon & Fey on their wedding day.
My friends had dined at BWI a couple of times in the past few months and made me jealous posting divine photos on facebook so I had been hanging out to try this place. Definitely met all expectations, the service was impeccable, and the dining experience was a delightful 5-course with a couple of extras in between….

Yummy little extras…

Chilled vichyssoise, oscietra + salmon caviars, beignets of hawkesbury oysters // White + green asparagus, slow poached organic egg yolk, fresh black winter truffle from manjimup

Grilled sea scallops, cauliflower, picked salsify, salted walnuts, green apple // Buffalo mozzarella, espelette pepper, potato gnocchi, wald mushrooms, sage butter

Murray cod, celeriac, crousillant of peppered oxtail

Western australian marron, fermented garlic, sweet green peas, alsace bacon

Grilled wagyu sirloin, braised cheek, jerusalem artichoke, deep fried aioli

Lamb shank, steamed bone marrow dumpling, spinach, roast shallot jus

Dark amadei chocolate tart, strawberries, yoghurt cream

Rasberry souffle, rasberry + marsarpone sorbet

Nom nom nom nom nom. Hahah I’ve always wanted to write that :P
