For Trish, photography is purely about expressing the way you see things. Trish sees beauty in the simple things. See beauty in people and objects just the way they are. It might not sound like anything spectacular, but in a world of neon-lights and airbrushed perfection, it's special. Trish loves simple things. Simple joys like a punnet of fresh strawberries. She will always smile for a punnet of strawberries. She loves country markets. The friendly chatter. She loves the country - the freedom of wide open spaces, enjoyed at a slower pace. The crisp air. Running with no boundaries. Dancing like there's no tomorrow. She loves all the things that express what it is to be part of life - part of all the beautiful creation on earth. That's not to say that Trish doesn't like anything modern or man-made. She's developed a love for TV (from my bad influence). But the leading men in these shows are always the un-assuming heroes anyway. The sort of guys with character built on old school values. She love nostalgia. She loves vintage. She loves old things. Old couples. Old cameras. To Trish, time washes away the superficial leaving behind only what is truly special. Trish continues to create images inspired by those things and keeps tealilyphotography dedicated to that natural expression - capturing simple, beautiful things.
