I've paused on this subject for many months now, stuck it on the to do list, and then pushed it away again because I don't know where to start, or how to satisfy the sweet souls who have enquired on the subject.
In my little lifetime I've had the privilege of teaching dance and music (and maths, but we can put that one aside for the time being). I loved the gift of teaching, and seeing my students progress and learn through creative expression.
Now here I am with photography, the little hobby that became my life, from which I have had no technical training, and only the investment of a lot of time, love, and energy. It baffles me that others want to learn from me, since I'm just a speck in this immensely talented industry hence my hesitations to date. I think it's a huge responsibility but also a great honour which I'm now ready to embrace.
So here it is, the official notice for those who are interested to please drop me a hello! I intend to offer private one-on-one sessions, or if you prefer, group sessions (no larger than 3). I want to make sure each of you receive undivided attention but also believe there is great value in networking and supporting each other early on in this industry. From workflow to relationships, hands-on shooting to post-processing, branding, nerdy business chat or anything else you might be wondering about...I'm all yours! I heart sunrise (and this beautiful sunshiney day)!!
Arlene & Michael opted for a day-after beloved session with their babies before they flew off to Chicago as newlyweds for a whole new unwritten chapter in their lives. It was a glorious morning, sweet and peaceful, ever so relaxed and lots of fun mixed in with rabbit fur. Hope you love them!

The blanket wasn't supposed to be a prop but it was a chilly winter morning and it just seem to fit and come in handy....love how things always seem to work out :)

There's been something special brewing this winter...
Coming soon with the first blossoms of Spring!!
After Paris, my mum and I found our way to London and I spent most of my time cozied up on our sofa bed at my uncle's place, speed reading my way through the Twilight series to the sound of London rain. In between the rain-reading sessions, we had heaps of fun catching up with family, hanging out with my awesome cousins, and catching up with old friends and acquaintances who were round. I also came to the conclusion that I really really like London, partly coz there are so many wonderful people there!
I met Leo and Elena again, this time I flagged them down at the corner of a tube stop, jumped into the tiniest car I had ever seen and we drove happily all the way to a place called Kent. They told me 'I think it's the kinda thing you'll like Trish'...and spot on they were, that place is stunning!
On the quiet sunday morning which followed, we just walked the streets of London, close to where they lived. It was fun revisiting favourite places, little hangouts, trying yummy pastries, and enjoying the relaxed quiet of the neighbourhood.
