I've paused on this subject for many months now, stuck it on the to do list, and then pushed it away again because I don't know where to start, or how to satisfy the sweet souls who have enquired on the subject.

In my little lifetime I've had the privilege of teaching dance and music (and maths, but we can put that one aside for the time being). I loved the gift of teaching, and seeing my students progress and learn through creative expression.

Now here I am with photography, the little hobby that became my life, from which I have had no technical training, and only the investment of a lot of time, love, and energy. It baffles me that others want to learn from me, since I'm just a speck in this immensely talented industry hence my hesitations to date. I think it's a huge responsibility but also a great honour which I'm now ready to embrace.

So here it is, the official notice for those who are interested to please drop me a hello! I intend to offer private one-on-one sessions, or if you prefer, group sessions (no larger than 3). I want to make sure each of you receive undivided attention but also believe there is great value in networking and supporting each other early on in this industry. From workflow to relationships, hands-on shooting to post-processing, branding, nerdy business chat or anything else you might be wondering about...I'm all yours! Email me at info@tealilyphotography.com for more info!!

Trish xx

Okay I'm a little nervous as I write this morning, or maybe there's just a little bit of excitement in the air because spring has dropped in to say hello. This has been a bit of a baby in the last few months and I'm not sure if you'll love it or just shrug at it but I really really hope it's as special to you as it is to me! I've explained the purpose of this publication a little better within the pages of the book itself, but in short - it's a thank you from me to you filled with pretty pictures, interviews with amazing wedding vendors, and lots of sweet surprises and giveaways in between...

Hello Spring, Hello Stylebook!!!

Best viewed in fullscreen, and please give it a little time to load! You are also most welcome to download the stylebook and peruse it as a pdf in your own sweet time! There's also a 'share on facebook' button at the bottom of this post if you think you like it enough to give it some extra lovin'!

Thank you again to EVERYONE who made this possible!

Last night I had the pleasure of volunteering to help photograph the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation Silver Party 2010. It was a splendid affair, hosted at Otto in Woolloomoolloo and packed out to the max. Since 2006, this event has supported the hospital's Emergency Department, raising funds to employ an additional specialist doctor, and also to continue to raise the quality of healthcare through training and education throughout Sydney and rural NSW. Thought I'd share a few of my fave snaps from the evening....

I was very much looking forward to the amazing food that was in abundance all night, courtesy of the minds and talent behind Guillame at Bennelong, Astral, Pier, Hugos, Quay, Summit, Aria, Rockpool, Pilu at Freshwater, and Otto. This jamon was delicioso!

Wandered over to the kitchen area and found all these yummies ready to go. By the time they hit the crowd there's hardly any left to photograph!
