A couple of months ago there was hardly any airtime planned save for a wedding in Hong Kong that I had intended to stretch into a little end of year holiday with the hubby, possibly detouring to Vietnam or Japan before coming back to Sydney for 2011. Somehow 2010 has taken me by surprise, and I am very very delighted to announce my travel schedule for the year...

Thank you to the wonderful couples who love my work enough to bring me over to where they will be, I can't wait to absorb it all, and also indulge in more travel photography which is always entirely refreshing.

Bolivia won't be for work though, Joel and I were excited to find out the Tan family will be going back with a team from their local church mid-year and have decided to join them. I hope to document a bit more of what's happening in that part of the world, and also am really looking forward to see how all the kids are, I hope I still recognise them! For those of you who are curious, or just want to reminisce with me, here's some of my memories from our last trip with them in 2006 - Sucre, Presto, Pancoche, and Villa Margarita.

Can't wait for the rest of the year to unfold.....much love!! xx

While I've been having a fantastic time checking out post-Christmas sales, album designing, and re-organising my life on my brand spanking new iMac, my dear husband has been slaving away at making this blog the pretty peachy thing that you see now, and we are just putting the final touches on the refreshed main website for a new year launch as you read this. He is my IT genius though he actually told me this year to find someone else to do it but when I explained what I was going to do he goes 'oh, I can do that' and then abracadabra it appears!! I also love the added functionality he has coded into the page so you can hook up to my rss feed, follow me on facebook, share individual entries with friends, and the comments form is heaps prettier too. There are still a couple more things to tweak on this page but hopefully those will be fixed soon. Oh, and for all of you who think that I just work him to the ground I have made sure we still spent quality time together over this break bonding over the first season of Chuck, plenty of DJ Hero, and many rainy day sleep-ins!!

I've also been wanting to post up my first successful holga roll taken from Tassie. I've had a really bad run with holgas - the first time I thought I had to roll the film back where it came from and jumped under the covers to do so totally wrecking the film in the process, the second time I thought I had the camera set on 16 shots when really was set on 12, and the third time the camera was dropped and the film was terribly exposed in the sun. Hence you can understand my elation when this roll came back unharmed!!

A slightly wonky shot taken at Port Arthur...

Bring on the New Year, xx!!!

This the the last of the film lot to put up, you can find the whole film set and more on my facebook(.com/trishlee). Now I have to rack my brains as to what to do with all these travel photos, I'm thinking of making a little coffee table style book but more of a smaller sized, thicker, paperback edition. Any ideas where I could get that done??
