We're now starting our month long road trip from Spain to France. gotta get off!
Alright, so I think I've got my blog/facebook/flickr integration worked out...which is a bit late because I think we're heading into a week-long internet blackout. Maybe a little longer. Anyway...let's test this thing out.

I'm getting ridiculously close to the stage of life where birthdays (at least the party part) don't matter so much any more. Anyway, this year Trish organised me a party, which was more of a themed Friday-night get-together....and even then, the theme was only decided by virtue of what sort of food we felt like eating. MEXICAN!!!
OK, I didn't really get any photos of the food, because honestly we didn't care so much about presentation. But it was an awesome dinner with the works - chilli con carne, salsa, cornchips, burritos and tacos with all the trimmings (even re-fried beans). And Mario brought sardines and oysters just to take it to the next level.
For drink we had sangria and coronas.
Will had been eyeing this Elmo pinata which he had been waiting for an excuse to buy. Well, my party was as good an excuse as any!!! Unfortunately I missed.
The pinata was actually official Sesame Street merchandise. However, we were actually supposed to pull the strings on his back....not beat him up with a baseball bat.

Life is pretty great right now, but this week has been hectically busy. I'm juggling being on two projects at the moment...and while I will soon get tired of having such long days, it's fun for now because it doesn't seem all together worthless. Plus, you're happy to work a bit harder when your boss lets you have 8 weeks leave....WWWOOOOOO!!!!!
