The New Dawn
Our time here was a bit of a joint effort with a few of the groups in Bolivia. There was a program that had been running for quite a while called 'The Breakfast Club' for the kids were they would meet early before school in the morning, have some breakfast and read a little of the Bible, and then brush their teeth and head off to school. It sounded like a great program with about thirty or so regulars. Today was a little different and it was a free for all, with an announcement over the loud speaker that free medical and dental services were being provided.

After the kids were weighed, measured, and de-wormed, they were sent upstairs to us for entertainment. Lots more colouring in (the kangaroo stencil was a huge hit and we didn't have enough), playing limbo to a song we learnt, and then the gospel story as told by Joel and translated by Liling. ![]() We were fortunate to have Kerry with us that day, a girl from Tassie who did heaps of theatre sports and street acrobatics. She made lots of balloons for them and later gave them rides on her shoulders. Here's Annie again playing with her mighty blue balloon sword!
I love the next two photos, but I'm sad coz I don't even know their names... ![]()
This little piglet was so small and cute! The boys on the other hand were very intent on their craft activity and made me laugh. Actually, there were quite a few sights like this around the place, I suppose they needed new elastic!
![]() Just hanging with the chicas!
![]() Don't you think these boys could do an Esprit/Benetton ad? The middle one's a cutie! ![]() Joely & the chicos! ![]() I can't quite tell what Joel is trying to do here. If he's opening his arms for a hug from me or if he's displaying his love for all that's in his surrounding. Let's just say it's a bit of both! ![]() bubbai bolivia....hope to see you soon.
