Amidst the tenderness of motherhood and chaos of family life, I seek to find poetry in the everyday. To record details of intimate gestures; the curl of fingers, the wisp of hair, soft rosy cheeks, and the feel of their little heart beating against your own. It's in these little moments we find a treasure trove of memories.
Too often, we hear, "I wish I had done this sooner". Let today be the one day before that someday slips away. These sessions are for maternity, newborn and the extraordinary, ordinary days of family life. Relaxed and honest by nature, in the comfort and familiarity of home or a location dear to you, we encourage you to be fully present and to simply enjoy each other so that we can best capture the indescribable: the essence of how it all feels.

Family albums and framed fine art prints are our greatest heirlooms. Printed photos are experienced and valued in a way that digital files could never be. Feel the weight of something tangible that will stand the test of time and be treasured by family and children for years to come.

What is your photography style?
For the majority of the day, we like to take a documentary, fly on the wall approach in recording your wedding day. This means that we aim to be as unobtrusive as possible, and to capture both yourselves and your guests in a relaxed way. That being said, we do provide guidance and direction during family portraits and the location session, and promise to never make you feel cheesy or awkward during these times.

What is included in your wedding collections?
Our wedding collections begin at $4200, inclusive of one photographer and your full gallery of high res images, edited in line with our brand. Collection options include beautiful fine art albums showcasing the highlights from your day, as well as other additions such as engagement sessions, second photographers, and motion film coverage. How much coverage do you recommend?
As a rough guide, our coverage usually begins with bridal preparations an hour to an hour and a half before the Bride needs to leave for the ceremony and ends when formalities are over at the reception - usually with the first dance and the opening of the dancefloor. We suggest at least an hour for location photos at a convenient point in the day and are most happy to make suggestions that suit the logistics of your day and the look and feel you are after.
Will I need a second photographer?
I shoot 80% of my weddings solo however I recommend a second photographer if you are having a larger wedding (100+), have a tight schedule, or are keen on having groom preparations photographed simultaneously on the day itself.
Do you travel?
Yes! National and international commissions are welcome. Travel fees apply to weddings outside the Sydney metro area - please get in touch for a quote.
Can I purchase an album later?
Yes. There is always an opportunity to purchase an album at a later stage at the a la carte rates. In this increasingly digital age, albums are close to our hearts and if you are able, we encourage purchasing one as part of the package so it is not something left by the wayside and forgotten as the years go on. We look forward to sharing some of our beautiful albums with you during our studio consult.
Will I be able to print my files?
Yes. All our wedding collections include non-watermarked, edited, high resolution files for your own personal reproduction. We are also proud to offer a linked print and framing service with our favourite family run Australian lab through your online gallery to order and enjoy at your own convenience.
How do I book?
In order to book, a signed contract and $2000 retainer is required. Your balance is due 30 days before the wedding, with final details for the day also required at this time. We cannot hold any dates without a signed contract and retainer.
When will I receive my files?
We aim to turn around our images as quickly as possible, however also invest the time to create an edited body of work in line with our brand. As a guide, your images will be uploaded onto a password protected online gallery within 4-6 weeks of your wedding date for you to view and share.

When is the best time of day for a session?
For at-home sessions, mid-morning sessions tend to work well with kids; however, I am happy to take your lead if there are specific memories you are hoping to capture. Before our session, I will ask for your guidance on the rhythms and routines of your family life.
For outdoor sessions, sunrise and sunset are hands down my favourite times to take photos. The light is gentle and flattering with a soft, warm glow and golden hues that you just don’t get at other times of the day.

Can you shoot analogue film for our session?
Yes, and I would LOVE to. There is a film fee of $250 to cover film and processing costs.
What should I wear?
I want you to feel comfortable in your own skin. Textures, layers, and neutrals are timeless and often work well. I send through a client prep pack before your session, which has plenty of tips, including guidance on dressing for the day.
Do you do extended family sessions?
Yes! However, given my style is very candid and natural, I suggest organising these sessions around an activity such as a picnic, beach adventure or an indoor at-home session doing things you love to do together as a family. I can take all the group photos that the parents or grandparents request, but also all the quiet magic and subtle gestures that make your family who they are!
Do you offer a framing and album service?
As a professional photographer, I believe this is one of the most valuable services I offer and perhaps the most often overlooked. Your time and money invested deserve to be celebrated rather than remain in hiding on a drive or cloud somewhere.
Once your session is complete, your images are hosted in a private gallery linked to my favourite lab with an abundance of beautiful products that can be ordered and shipped safely to your door. I can help design keepsake albums for you to hold in your hands and heart. I’m also available to provide advice on creating gallery walls, print and frame sizing.

Trish is a master of visual storytelling as she captures precious moments. My husband and I are camera shy and had never done a shoot before but Trish made us feel so relaxed and natural on our wedding day with heaps of funny banter too! I don’t think I realised how special it would be to have something like this but it really fills me with so much joy seeing myself with Claudia. I haven’t felt the best this pregnancy with self image and confidence so seeing how beautiful these are has helped me to see a bit differently even if I don’t feel it! I also don’t have anything like this with my own mum and seeing these I wish I did. I would have loved to see us together at this age especially now i am a mum myself. It’s really a priceless thing to do.
